Encouragement from an unlikely source; in an unlikely situation.

Let me briefly share with you something the Lord has done for us lately.

Gal. 6:4-10

4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

5For every man shall bear his own burden.

6Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

10As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Recently, in our church, Cross Chapel we had a very interesting turn of events. One of the dear people who attended regularly and was a very vocal member of the amen corner, decided that  God had called them to expose cross preachers as false prophets because, in their own words, “all the pastors in this town preach the cross”.  These are the same folks who began to accuse saying, “you think you have some secret truth that no one else has”. Now bear in mind that this person, who is also in the ministry copies a well known TV personality by blowing on people as they pray for them and has also been known to participate in the “soaking prayer” craze.

Basically, the attitude is;  “If they mention Jesus and the Cross once in awhile, then they are ok and you should not say any more about it.”  It all came to a head when the Lord laid on my heart a message about “the Mixture gospel” and I preached it one Sunday night at the Chapel.  Well, let me tell you, the attack was on. My wife and I, along with others, were called every name in the book. But all through this time I kept hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit in my heart telling me to watch what He was about to do.

We just kept on preaching the Cross in love while the most vile things were being said about us. What else were we going to do?   quit?  NEVER….  God did not call us to quit. God did not ordain us to give up.  To make a very long story short; because of all the fuss and stir, the Holy Spirit began dealing with the hearts of many people who are now interested in Cross Chapel and the message of the Cross. What satan and his ministers had intended to drive us out of town, God is using to further His true message; the message of The Cross.

My dear friends, remember that if God be for you, then who can possibly be against you? (Rom 8:31)

When all of man’s impossibilities are against you; all God’s possibilities are still for you.

Nothing that is happening TO you could possibly be any greater than what God is doing IN you.

Remember the principle layed out in Exodus 14:13-14

13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Remember that you and God are a majority in any situation.

Hold on to every inch of ground that the Lord your God gives you. Claim the victory that is found in the Cross and in the Blood… and, as the old saying goes; never let em see you sweat……  IF you have continued faithful to preach the truth: The message of the Cross; THEN GOD is about to burst on the scene in your life, in your home, in your ministry, on your job, whatever the case might be; and that which the enemy meant for your hurt, GOD has meant to do you good and to save much people alive…..

Genesis 50:20 20But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

You can count on it… You can take it to the bank.. God will not fail you, EVER…….

Never failed me yet; never failed me yet

Jesus blood has never failed me yet….

This one thing I know, that wherever I may go

Jesus Blood has never failed me yet……….
