It is so easy to walk through life and just see what is going on in your three feet of life. We experience so much each day and so many things can steal our focus. We can just see three feet in front of us. What am I going through? What is my family going through? Sometimes that is where it ends.

Sometimes we hear all the pains and sorrows going on, we hear it and see it, but then we do nothing because we start feeling hopeless.

Sometimes we listen to the news, we see what is going on around us, and the concerns of the day, then we forget that we have a heritage from God. We must not shrink into our own shell when we see hurt and pain around us.

We are to reach out. We are to make a difference, give hope to the hopeless, to provide a word of life to those who are dying. Do not get caught up in the sorrows and forget who God is. That is what satan wants us to do. If we stay in our own little world and think about ourselves only then those who need our prayers and kind words will not receive the blessings that God has for them.

God wants us to see through His eyes. He wants to make a difference in peoples lives. He wants to use His children.

Even if we can touch one person’s life, give one hope when it looks hopeless.

Yes, you are important, yes your family is important, but who else is God speaking to you about to give hope too? Do not let the news about the situation overwhelm you to do nothing. Example: you hear someone died, someone has cancer, someone lost their job, someones marriage just broke up, someone cannot feed their family, and the list goes on. If you get caught up in the news you can loose hope yourself and not go forward in prayer or in giving a helping hand. In ourselves it can be overwhelming hearing and seeing it all.

We are not to take all the hurts on ourselves. We cannot do anything within ourselves.

Even if we are the ones who are going through difficult times and we are the ones who needs prayer, we can reach out and let God use us through what we are experiencing. Just maybe through our witness to others our healing may come and their lives could be changed. I was going through a hard situation and someone was watching me. I did not know she was watching me, but years later she was going through a hard time and remembered what God did for me and how God brought me through my difficult time and she reached out to God in her time of need. Now she is saved and going to church.
You do not know who may be watching you or listening to you.

Sometimes we start hearing all the hurts and pains of others and we shut it off. We shut the TV off. We shut the voices off. That is what satan wants. No we should not sit there and watch the news all the time. But do not shut the hurts and pains off because you start feeling over whelmed. Just start praying and believing God to change the situations and work in the lives of the people who are involved.

We need to be as Abraham who hoped against hope. Romans 4:18 [For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith…

You are part of God’s plan to touch this “little world”. There is no other hope, No plan B…

You might be the only hope someone has. Do not let satan pull you down or cause you to feel hopeless in your situation or in what you are hearing.

We are not of those who have no hope.

Ephesians 2:12-13

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Before we came to Jesus, we had no hope, but now we have hope.
But where is our hope?
Job 17:15 (AMP) Where then is my hope? And if I have hope, who will see [its fulfillment]?

Let us not get caught up in what we see or hear around us. Keep our eyes on the one who can fulfill our hope. The one who is hope. Share that with others. Let us Hope against hope….

Col. 2:7; 3:2; 3:9-10 Eph. 4:23

Have the roots [of your being] firmly & deeply planted [in him, fixed & founded in him], being continually built up in him, be coming increasingly more confirmed & established in the faith, just as you were taught, it abounding & overflowing in it with thanks giving.

vs5 leaning of the entire human personality on him in absolute trust & confidence in his power, wisdom, & goodness.

We must be rooted & grounded deep in Him. So many are led astray because they only believe on the surface. They quit before they are strong in the Lord and established in the faith.

1 Peter 2:2 like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured & grow up to [completed] salvation, since you have (already) tasted the goodness & kindness of the Lord.

2 Peter 3:18 … grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) & recognition & knowledge & understanding of our lord & Savior Jesus Christ [the Messiah]…

2 Peter 5-7 “giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; & to virtue knowledge; & to knowledge temperance; & to temperance patience; & to patience godliness; & to godliness brotherly kindness; & to brotherly kindness charity.”

vs 8 “ for if these things be in you, & around, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We must guard ourselves against anything that would try to stop us from growing in Christ.

Col. 2:8 see to it that no one carries you off…
Heb. 13:9 do not be carried about…
Eph. 4:14 don’t be carried about…
2 Peter 3:17 lest you be carried away…

BE ON YOUR GUARD!!!

Eph. 4:14 so then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to & fro between chance gust of teaching & wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of the cunning & cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

DON’T BE TOSSED TO & FRO!!!

Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things speaking truly, enfolded in love, let us GROW UP in every way & in all things into Him who is the head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the anointed one)

GOD GIVES THE INCREASE!!!

We must day by day walk in the light that He has given us.

John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease [he must grow more prominent; I must grow less so]

Don’t allow FEAR or DREAD stop you from growing. Quit allowing your mind & flesh keep you from stepping out from where you are to where God wants you to be.

So many times we let others or our circumstances hold us back. Don’t let fear paralyze you from doing what God wants you to do. Many times He says “Go forward”, but many people don’t because they seize up with fear…
Fear of people or failure. God wants us to grow in Him. This takes time, but most people don’t take the time or the steps that are needed to grow strong in the Lord.

Joshua 1:9 … be strong, vigorous, & very courageous. BE NOT AFRAID, neither be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go.

It is time we “Grow up”, put away childish things. He wants us to go forward and we are still playing around as though we were still babies. There is much work to be done. It is funny when we were young we couldn’t wait until we were 16, then we could wait until we were 18, then 21. But now that we are old we act like babies.

Yes we must be as little children in some things. But
it is time to go forward, Grow up in Him, & do His as He has said.

GROW UP!!!

Phil 4:6-9 (AMP)
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything…

DO NOT FRET… do is to have action and do something. Do not means to stop doing something. This means we are doing something that we should not do.

STOP IT!!!

That means you have been doing it & now it is time to stop it.

The KJ bible word book explanation of FRET is:

The word “fret” makes us think of worry & discontent. In the KJV, however it occurs 4 times in the obsolete sense of “Eat into”, “gnaw”, Corrode,”, or be “eaten away”, “become corroded”, “decay”, “a fretting leprosy” Lev 13:51-52 “it is fret inward” Lev 13:55; 14:44. “a leprous malignancy. a spreading leprous disease. “it is Fret inward, weather it be bare within or without. “it continues eating away, weather the damage is outside or inside.

WOW, just by fretting we eat away at our insides. We can even see the results of worry in people’s faces. It does have an outward appearance when people worry and fret. The inward fretting is like leprosy eating away at us.

The bible talks a lot about not fretting or letting our cares dragging us down.

He wants us to cast our cares on Him.

Matt 6:32-34 …your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all(daily needs) He knows what you need. vs 27 who of you by worrying & being anxious can add one unit of measure to his stature on to the span of his life.

vs 26 what about the birds? Are they better than you? Are you not worth much more that they? He takes care of them, why would you be any less?

But see (aim at & strive after) for all His kingdom & His righteousness (His way of doing & being right, & then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries & anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

Heb 13:5-6 …For [God] himself said I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support, [I WILL] not, [I WILL] not, [I WILL] not, in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake you nor let you down (relax my hold on you!) [assuredly no!]

So we take comfort and are encouraged & confidently and boldly say, the Lord is my helper; I will not be seized with alarm [ I will no fear or dread or be terrified]

We can look to him and not worry about what each day holds!!!

HE IS OUR HELPER!!!

In Ruth 1:1-22 we see a struggle for one women. Naomi had two daughter-in-law’s who had a decision to make.

Naomi tried to talk them both into going home and not following her.  She told them she had nothing to give them.

Orphan wept at the border because she was torn between two loves…She loved Naomi , but she had not cut ties to Moab.

Orpah faced a decision… Would she follow Naomi, which means Grace…a moving away from living for the world and a move toward living by Grace…

Hung up on the border…some turning back to their old ways…

Orpah wept Ruth 1:9-10, but it was only on the surface…
She wanted to be a part of what God was doing, but in her heart she was gripped by her love for her old circle of friends and family.

Tears are not enough…

A fork in the road comes to everyone…

Ruth 1:14-15
Amplified Bible (AMP)
14Then they wept aloud again; and Orpah [a]kissed her mother-in-law [good-bye], but Ruth clung to her.

15And Naomi said, See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.

Footnotes:
Ruth 1:14 “How many part with Christ at this crossway! Like Orpah they go a furlong or two with Christ, till He goes to take them off from their worldly hopes and bids them prepare for hardship, and then they fairly kiss and leave Him” (William Gurnall, cited by James C. Gray and George M. Adams, Bible Commentary).

Orpah was loth to part from her; yet she did not love her well enough to leave Moab for her sake. Thus, many have a value and affection for Christ, yet come short of salvation by him, because they will not forsake other things for him. They love him, yet leave him, because they do not love him enough, but love other things better.

Remember Lot’s Wife…

Genesis 19:26
Amplified Bible (AMP)
26But [Lot’s] wife looked back from behind him, and she [a]became a pillar of salt.

She not only looked back, she went back…vs 22 says that the angel could not do anything unto Lot was out. Vs 23 Lot came out, but his wife went back…

Footnotes:
Genesis 19:26 Lot’s wife not only “looked back” to where her heart’s interests were, but she lingered behind; and probably overtaken by the fire and brimstone, her dead body became incrusted with salt, which, in that salt-packed area now the Dead Sea, grew larger with more incrustations–a veritable “pillar of salt.” In fact, at the southern end of the Dead Sea there is a mountain of table salt called Jebel Usdum, “Mount of Sodom.” It is about six miles long, three miles wide, and 1,000 feet high. It is covered with a crust of earth several feet thick, but the rest of the mountain is said to be solid salt (George T. B. Davis, Rebuilding Palestine According to Prophecy). Somewhere in this area Lot’s wife looked back to where her treasures and her heart were, and “she became a pillar of salt.” Jesus said, “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:32).

We all come to a place where a decision has to be made. Do we hold on to our past and our old ways. Do we hold on to the world’s ways or do we turn to God and follow His ways?

1 Kings 18:21
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

It is time to make a choice…

A friend of mine has asked this question. Question:Is how you live important to God?

I was just going to answer yes, but I could not do that. I wanted to answer with the scriptures. So Yes and ….
Matthew 4:4 ….Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
(WE LIVE BY THE WORD)

John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (LIVE IN HIM)

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. (LIVE IN PEACE)

Galatians 2:20

Philippians 1:21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (LIVE IN CHRIST)
Titus 2:12
12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, & GODLY)

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (LIVE BY FAITH)

That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (LIVE TO THE WILL OF GOD)
1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (LIVE THROUGH HIM)

So yes it is important to God how we live. But oh thank God he sent His Son to die for us, which in turn gives us the help of the Holy Spirit helping us to live right.
We place our faith in what Jesus has done and the Holy Spirit helps us live out the Christian life. He is ever conforming us to the image of Christ and Christ did…
Romans 8:29  … he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son…

Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus went around doing good and healing those who are oppressed…so should we live to do good and through Jesus lives will be healed of the oppression of satan.
When we receive what Jesus has done, we will reach out with a cup of cold water, we will feed the hungry, help the poor, and so much more. As we are led by the Spirit, live the way He shows you…

Christ lives in us and we live in Him!!! Praise God

The bible talks a lot about the way we should live. It says that we should examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith. (II Cor. 13:5) What we do on a daily basis really shows what is in us. It is not what we do when others are looking, or what we do at church, or even at work. You can tell what is in a person’s heart by the way he acts daily.

Prov 4:23 Keep & guard your HEART with all vigilance & above all that you guard, for out of it flow the spring of life.

Many people look to the things of this world. Things will not make you happy.

Matt. 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your HEART be also.

You can tell what people believe just by what they say.

Matt. 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the HEART; and they defile the man.

Matt. 12:34 … for out of the abundance of the HEART the mouth speaketh.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his HEART bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his HEART bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the HEART his mouth speaketh.

Matt. 22:37; Luke 10:27; Deut 6:5; Josh 22:5- Love the Lord thy God with all thy HEART

John 14:1 Do not have a troubled HEART

Ex. 35:5 Have a willing HEART

I Sam 16:7 God looks at the HEART, men look on the outside, but God looks at the HEART

I John 5:21(AMP) Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods) – [from anything & everything that would occupy the place in your HEART due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be)

Heb 3:10 Don’t be led away in your HEARTS

Heb 3:12 do not have an unbelieving HEART

Heb 3; Mark 16:14; John 12:40 Do not harden your HEART

Ezek 18:31 & 36:26 have a new HEART, and not a stoney HEART

Ps112:8; Ps 34 – Have a steady HEART

We must protect our hearts. Guard your heart, keep it loving, & keep it pure. Never let it be troubled. I liked the way my husband put it, “do not lose command of your own heart”. We must not let others take from our hearts what God is doing in us. Keep your faith placed in what Jesus did at the cross. When you do that the Holy Spirit will work in you. Look to Jesus for who you are to be. It is the will of God that we are conformed to the image of Jesus, not the image of this world. So Guard your HEART!!

The Lord delivered you, now will you forsake Him?

How many times has the Lord forgiven you? How many times do you forget Him? Do you give Him glory for bringing you through life’s trials?

The Lord has said He would not leave you nor forsake you, but what about you? Do you go through your day without Him?

Ps 103:2 – … and forget not all His benefits:

Jer 1 & 2; 1:16 They worship the works of their hands. We acts like our own hands have accompished all things. Pride comes in and people forget that God gives strength. God gives life and much more. These people bow down to the works of their own hands. They have abandoned their convenant with God and started making offerings to other gods, even the works of their own hands.

Forgetting God is: A characteristic of the wicked: Prov 2:17,
Is 65:11

Backsliders are guilty of it: Jer 3:21,22

Forgetting:

His covenant: Deu 4:23, 2 King 17:38
His works: Ps 103;2, 106:7
His word: Heb 12:5 James 1:25
His law: Ps 119:153, 176 Hos 4:6
Past deliverance: Jud 8:34, Ps 78:42
His Power to deliver: Is 51:13-15
Is encouraged by false teachers : Jer 23:27
Prosperity often leads to it: Deu 8:12-14; Hos 13:6
Trials should not lead to it: Ps 44:17-20
Resolve against it: Ps 119:16, 93
Caution against it: Deu 6:12; Deu 8:11
Exhortation to those guilty of it: Ps 50:22
Punishment of it: Job 8:12,13 Ps 9:17; Is 17:10,11; Exe 23:35; Hos. 8:14

Don’t forget where the Lord has brought you from. Many people start out for the Lord because of some kind of trouble they are in or they are down on their luck. Then they turn to God for forgiveness and for help. But when the Lord has mercy on them, forgives them, and helps them, they turn back to the world and the ways of the world. Beware lest you Forget!!!

Today many people are letting their feelings guide them instead of the Spirit of God. We see things going on around us and are moved by them. We hear things and are moved by them. We are tossed back and forth.

You cannot let your feelings guide you. If you do you will be like a yo-yo. You are up and you are down. Feelings are unpredictable. Like the weather they can change in a minute. You are so easily influenced and go up and down. They are so undependable.

You have to bring your feelings into subjection to the word of God. To His leading and His guiding. Apply faith to your feelings.

Doing what you want to do, doing what you feel like doing is not being led by the Spirit and will led you into places that you really do not want to go.

Feeling will not direct you, they can hurt you if they are led by the flesh. Many times our feeling run away with us because we dwell on the circumstances or the situation.

Your feelings can deceive you. Feelings can lead you into depression & fear. If unchecked feelings can stop you from receiving & from giving. People who follow their feelings can become hopeless.

You can not see tomorrow, but God can. He will led you into the right place, true peace, true joy, true love, etc…

You can have the peace of God as you allow Him to led you.

He has a plan for you. He knows you. He knows what you care about. He knows what hurts your heart. God loves you.

Our feelings can cause us to be double minded and that makes us unstable.

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:8
Amplified Bible (AMP)
[For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].
Feelings that are not under the control of our Heavenly Father make us unstable, unreliable, and uncertain about everything.
We must be stable in His will, in His ways, in His direction, and in His leading.
Psalm 31:3
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
Psalm 32:8
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 23
1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
We must bring every thought to the obedience of Christ…
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…

As we continue to look to what He did at Cross daily, we will continue to feel the right feelings. When we look to our own thoughts about the situation we will not have the peace of God.

But when you place your faith about all you experience, you will have true peace, true joy, true love. Only when you place your life into the hands of the Shepherd and not in your feelings will this come to past. Let Him led you and guide you today…Praise God

Today everyone is crying “Love everyone”. Let us open our arms to everyone no matter what. “Inclusivity” they call it. What happens is they want you to except their way of thinking, their way of living, without disagreeing with them. If you don’t agree with their way of life, then you do no love them and you are lumped in with the bullies and those who truly don’t care about people.

When it comes down to it, they become the very thing they are crying you are, “Intolerant”. As long as you love their way then you are OK.

What if I say, “I love you” but I do not love the life you live? Does that mean I am a liar? Can one really love someone and not love the sin that they are living in?

All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. But God so loved the world that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.)

So because God will not except us without us being covered by the blood of Jesus, does that mean He does not love us.

John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Christians have become the ones who are being pushed out of this society.
As long as you love the way they want you to love then they love you, but because you are not of this world and refuse to live or think like they do, they really hate you.

Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
How could He love one and hate the other? Oh Boy He would not be politically correct today.

Because I believe Marriage is one man and one women, does that mean I do not love?
Because I believe in “The Right To Life”, does that mean I do not love?
Because I believe it is wrong to live a lifestyle of homosexuality, does that mean I do not love?

What the world wants for you to do is let them live in the sin they are in without saying a word against it, then you really love them.
I say that is not the way “Love” is.

Yes love my neighbor as myself. Yes love one another. Yes love my enemies. If you do not have compassion you do not have the love of God in you. It is a commandment to love.

Do we love you way or mine?

Yes the word of God commands us to love.

1 John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

2 John 1:6
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

As Christians we naturally love others. God’s love is in us and we reach out to others with compassion and with a helping hand. But the world has turned our love into a dirty word, because we speak against the sin in their lives.

We all have sinned and need what Jesus did at Calvary. We all have to come to the knowledge that if we continue in our sin, we will die in them, and will not be with our heavenly Father forever. (the world would say that is not true, how could a loving Father do that? Well that is another teaching)

Oh Church, my heart is broken this morning thinking about loved ones who will not except the ways of God because they won’t admit they are living in sin. They want me to except their sin as I love them. They want me to love like they do, only when it serves them, only when I agree with them, and only when I keep silent about what I believe. We have done that too long and look at what has happened in this world.

Let us love and help those around us without compromising what we believe. We must speak the truth in Love. They manipulate the love of God to cover their own sin. To cover their lifestyle.

Last disclaimer, WE NEED TO LOVE EVERYONE, but not as the world loves. We must be a voice of truth and love. Let the Holy Spirit led you as you walk in love and in the truth of the Gospel. Feed the poor, love the sinner, hate the sin, and let God use you to reach out to those who will receive the truth of the Gospel, “For God so loved the world…”

I was watching a show about 9 /11 and asked myself, “What would I do?”. I watched as the plane hit the first tower and then they went to some people’s stories of their memories about the day. Some ran towards the towers and some ran away, “What would I do?” A man’s wife called him and she told him her flight was highjacked… Some ran into the flames knowing they could die too, but they went anyway. “What would I do”.

I started thinking about the end days and what is coming. I started thinking about what some christians are going through right now. I asked myself, “What would I do?” If I was told, if you preach or teach in Jesus name you will be killed, “What would I do?”.

Right now there are people who are told if you continue going to church and speaking about Jesus your family will be killed. “What would I do?”.

This happened in Jesus day. Acts 4:18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.  20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard…

They would not stop… Even though later they would suffer for it…“What would I do?”
Stephen was another who would not hold back what God had put in his heart, But he gave his life for it…

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen…

“What would I do?”

“What would I do” if I was thrown into prison not given food or water for days. I live in comfort. I have enough food and water. But what if that was taken away from me? What if someone came in and took all my bibles? Most people I know have many bibles and we do not understand that there are many who have none. Some even share one piece of the bible and have such passion for God, “What would I do?”

What if I lived in a country where going to church was illegal? People in this country find all kinds of reasons not to go. Most churches do not have a Sunday night service anymore because they can not get people to come. “What would I do?” Would I lay my life on the line to go to the underground church? Knowing I could be killed.

Some say, “Oh that will not happen in American, the land of the free”. What if it does? Are you ready? Our rights as Christians are slowing being taken away from us.

“What would I do?” if today I could get killed for my faith? or beaten? or thrown in jail?

Oh Father that we all would be found faithful. Help us today to see life as you would. Show us how we should walk daily. Give us courage and strength to follow you with unfailing faith. Help us to be like Peter, Paul, Stephen, and those who have gone before us, giving their lives so the Gospel could be spread. In Jesus Name…AMEN…

Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
